Bulk garden organics verge collection

Put on your gardening gloves, sharpen the pruning shears and get ready for the City of Fremantle’s bulk garden organics verge collection.

Accepted materials:

• Tree trunks, branches and shrub prunings up to 1.5m
  in length and 30cm in diameter
• Two trailer loads (6×4 trailer size) or two cubic metres
  of green waste

Not accepted materials:

• General rubbish, junk or white goods
• Bags or boxes of leaves or grass clippings
• Dug out lawn, weeds or root materials
• Sand and soil materials

The City does not collect from:

• Vacant lots
• Commercial properties
• Reserves or parks

Please do not:

• Place waste next to trees, water meters, reticulation, street signs, parked cars or other objects
• Obstruct the footpath or driveway, bins, or the line of sight for pedestrians and road users
• Put household hazardous waste with your verge collection. See Fremantle Recycling Centre

Please be cautious:

• The invasive pest polyphagous shot-hole borer has been detected in the Perth metropolitan area, and a quarantine area has been implemented to help protect WA’s forests, food and agriculture industries.
