Removal crews will begin dismantling the enclosure, with works expected to take approximately two days, weather permitting. The enclosure, installed in December, has provided a protected swimming area over the summer period and will return in October ahead of the next peak season. Removal works will be carried out from the water, with minimal impact to beach access. Some temporary disruption in the immediate work zone may occur while vessels and crews are operating. The City thanks the community for embracing the enclosure over summer and looks forward to welcoming it back later this year.
