Applications are open from 1 to 31 March 2026. Applications are now open for the City of Fremantle’s Community, Youth and Arts Grants, with grants of up to $7,500 available to support local initiatives that strengthen community connection, wellbeing and creativity. The grants support programs and activities that address local needs and deliver positive outcomes for people who live, work and study in Walyalup/Fremantle. Applications are open from 1 to 31 March 2026. Community Grants are available to incorporated community groups and not-for-profit organisations to deliver initiatives that promote social and cultural wellbeing and foster a more inclusive, connected and resilient Fremantle community. Youth Grants support programs delivered by community groups and not-for-profits that foster social and civic participation, wellbeing, skills and resilience in young people aged 12–25 who live, work or study in Fremantle. Arts Grants are available to artists and creatives to develop and deliver artistic, cultural or creative activities in Walyalup/Fremantle that engage with the local community in meaningful ways. To support applicants, the City of Fremantle is offering free one-on-one grants information sessions. These sessions provide an opportunity to learn more about the grants, eligibility criteria and application process, and to ask questions specific to proposed projects.
