Apply for a funding boost in the City of Fremantle’s latest round of Community, Youth and Arts grants.

Applications are open now and close on Tuesday 30 September. Grants of up to $7,500 per successful applicant are available.

The biannual grants are for programs or activities that address a specific need or provide a benefit to the Fremantle community.

In this round of Community grants, the City is looking for projects or initiatives that promote social and cultural wellbeing and foster a more inclusive and connected community.

The Youth grants can be for programs that encourage development in wellbeing, skills, empowerment and resilience of young people aged 12–25.

Lastly, Arts grants are available for artists and creatives to develop and deliver artistic, cultural or creative activities in Fremantle.

The City of Fremantle has also welcomed a $10,000 contribution to the Arts grants funding pool, thanks to Fremantle Community Bank (a branch of Bendigo Bank).

To assist applicants, City officers have organised free grants information sessions:

  • Grants information session 1
    Tuesday 9 September | 11am–1pm
    Fremantle Library

  • Grants information session 2
    Tuesday 16 September | 5.30–6.30pm
    Online

In addition to the September round of Community, Youth and Arts grants, residents can also apply for year-round funding across sports and recreation, venue support and positive ageing.
