As host city, Fremantle will welcome the top echelon of Australia’s tourism industry at their celebratory night of nights. Fremantle gained hosting honours through a collaborative bid from Tourism Western Australia and Business Events Perth, with additional support from the City of Fremantle and the Rottnest Island Authority. Fremantle Mayor Hannah Fitzhardinge said the awards will provide an opportunity to further showcase our city on the national stage. “Fremantle is fast becoming the destination of choice for large-scale business and industry events, with an expansion in accommodation and hospitality offerings over the past few years,” Mayor Fitzhardinge said. The event is expected to attract hundreds of tourism industry leaders and business owners to Western Australia. “We are excited for the tourism industry’s best to experience all the unique attractions that make Fremantle a must-visit destination, where history, culture and coastal beauty intertwine,” Mayor Fitzhardinge said. Fremantle will also host the WA Tourism Conference in May 2025 and the Australian Cruise Association Conference and AGM in September 2025.
