Fremantle Toy Library and Fremantle PCYC celebrate 50 years

The Fremantle Toy Library and Fremantle PCYC are celebrating a special milestone this October, with both marking 50 years of supporting local children, young people and families.

To celebrate, the community is invited to a free family-friendly event at Fremantle PCYC on Saturday 17 October.

The celebration will bring together families, community groups and local services for a morning of free activities, entertainment and fun.

There will be plenty to keep the kids entertained, including a toy zone, sensory and messy play, arts and crafts, a Junior Challenge inflatable course, Ranger Redz Zoo, Nature Play activities, origami, face painting and henna.

Families can also enjoy a free sausage sizzle and connect with local community organisations, playgroups, health services, children’s authors and City of Fremantle teams.

The event is an opportunity to celebrate the important role the Fremantle Toy Library and Fremantle PCYC have played in the community over the past five decades, while bringing the community together to enjoy everything they continue to offer today.

Everyone is welcome to come along and help celebrate 50 years of play, connection and community in Fremantle.
