Essential tree pruning near overhead powerlines will be carried out across Fremantle.

The City of Fremantle is undertaking scheduled tree pruning near overhead powerlines over the coming months from January to April 2026.

All pruning is carried out by qualified arborists in accordance with Australian Standards to maintain tree health and structure.

You will see arborists undertaking this work and to allow crews safe access to certain sites, residents may be asked to temporarily move parked vehicles. We kindly ask for your cooperation and understanding if requested.

You may also notice temporary traffic management or minor disruptions while works are underway.

The City of Fremantle thanks the community for being accommodating as we complete this important pruning program.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the City at 1300 MY FREO (1300 693 736) or info@fremantle.wa.gov.au.
