Fremantle will come alive with colour, music and creativity on Saturday 1 November as Freo Pride Fest 2025 takes over Walyalup Koort from 1–6pm.

Fremantle will come alive with colour, music and creativity on Saturday 1 November as Freo Pride Fest 2025 takes over Walyalup Koort from 1–6pm.

This free, family-friendly, alcohol-free event will showcase live music, art, market stalls, pottery, screen printing, face painting and more, creating an inclusive celebration in the heart of Fremantle.

Adding to the festivities, the Fremantle Library will launch the month-long exhibition Our Stories, Our Pride.

The exhibition will showcase the voices, stories and artistic expression of the LGBTQIA+ community and will be open throughout November.

Pride Fest partner FOMO will also host a free content creation workshop on the day, offering participants hands-on experience in working to a brief, shooting and editing content for a client.

“Freo Pride Fest is all about celebrating diversity and creating a safe, inclusive space for everyone in our community,” said Pete Stone, Director Creative Arts and Community.

“We’re excited to showcase the creativity, talent and stories of the LGBTQIA+ community and encourage everyone to join in the festivities.”

“Last years inaugural event was a runaway success with over 7,000 people attending. I’m expecting this year will be just as good, or better, and I’ll be there to join in the celebration”.

Freo Pride Fest is a City of Fremantle event proudly supported by headspace Freo, FOMO and Neami National.

The City of Fremantle will continue to celebrate Pride Month throughout November with a vibrant line-up of events.
