The City’s four main beaches are perfect for swimming, relaxing, kite surfing, paddling and other leisure activities. They offer a range of facilities that can be accessed year round and are utilised by locals and tourists alike.

The City offers a variety of beach wheelchairs and a walker which can be pushed onto the beach allowing access for people with disability and also seniors. The wheelchairs are available for loan every year over the summer months at South Beach, Bathers Beach & Leighton Beach.
