Geoff Graham was elected as a councillor in 2019, having previously served as a councillor from 1997–2001 and 2003–2007.

Born and bred in Beaconsfield with very strong family ties to the local community, Geoff has been a passionate advocate for the City and its residents. Geoff has always been active in the local community. He served on the Beaconsfield Primary School P&C and is a long-standing member of the Fremantle Tennis Club, the South Fremantle Football Club, and the Fremantle Bowling Club. Geoff still serves the community as a Justice of the Peace.

Geoff’s working career in State Government has spanned over 40 years. He has worked at Fremantle Prison, Fremantle Hospital, and became a senior procurement manager for the WA Health Department.

Throughout his previous terms on council, Geoff has been Chair of the Planning, Heritage Advisory and Sport & Recreation committees. He was instrumental in completing the John Gerovich statue project. He currently serves on the Planning and Strategic Planning committees, constantly looking for ways to better the City. He is looking forward to the progress of the Heart of Beaconsfield project and the Freo Oval redevelopment project.

Being born and raised in Freo, Geoff has always loved our city and knows he always will.
