Adoption of six new or amended local planning policies and subsequent revocation of outdated policies.

At the 13 May Ordinary Council Meeting a number of new and amended local planning policies (LPPs) were adopted as a result of the ongoing policy review schedule, along with amendments to a Local Development Plan (LDP).

The aim of the review is to simplify the local planning framework, removing outdated criteria and reverting to the Residential Design Codes where appropriate.

As a result of the review process and adoption of new policies Council, at the same meeting, resolved to revoke a number of policies.

The adopted and revoked LPPs and LDPs are:
