Bulk Garden Organics collection

It's time to tidy the garden!

The City of Fremantle's bulk garden organics verge collection kicks off from Monday 4 September for Area A and Monday 11 September for Area B.

Area A: Fremantle (excluding the CBD), North Fremantle, White Gum Valley, parts of Hilton (north of South Street) and O'Connor 

Area B: South Fremantle, Beaconsfield, parts of Hilton (south of South Street) and Samson 

Accepted materials
• Tree trunks, branches and shrub prunings up to 1.5m in length and 30cm in diameter
• Two trailer loads (6x4 trailer size) or two cubic metres of green waste

Not accepted materials
• General rubbish, junk or white goods
• Bags or boxes of leaves, loose leaves or grass clippings
• Dug out lawn, weeds or root materials
• Sand and soil materials

Please help keep our streets tidy by placing the materials on your own kerb no more than three days prior to your collection date.

When is the next bulk waste verge collection?

From Friday 1 September, residents will be able to pre-book their bulk waste verge collection through the Verge Valet™ website. 

The new bulk waste service will not change the scheduled bulk garden organics collection which takes place twice a year.
